Since we are celebrating an anniversary here at Digital Media Butterfly, we thought it would be fun to share the story behind our name. Whether you’ve missaid our name and called us Digital Butterfly, Digital Marketing, Butterfly Marketing, or another combination of words- we still love you! Learn more about the story of how our head butterfly, Caryn, came to create the well-known name Digital Media Butterfly.
Besides being a play on words for “social butterfly,” Digital Media Butterfly was born out of Caryn taking a leap of faith and using her wings to fly. Caryn had years of experience in website building under her belt and spent her free time creating sites. While creating these websites was a safe side gig for quite some time, Caryn was ready to turn her passion into a career, so she “took a leap of faith and grew her wings on the way down.” And that’s what began Digital Media Butterfly.
One of the greatest rewards of beginning the company is that Caryn built a team whose heart is in helping businesses soar and navigate the nuances of today’s marketing world.
As the company has grown, Caryn makes sure that we stay true to our name– we are passionate about letting our wings fly, and each employee pours their passion into their work.
