Small Businesses are the lifeblood of our economy, and the restrictions put in place to help stop the spread of coronavirus are hurting so many small businesses! So, we wanted to share some ideas for ways you can help support small businesses.

Tip a little more than usual

We know that money is tight for most people right now, but if you can, tip a little more than usual to those that are working right now.

If you feel unwell, stay home and call instead

Not feeling well?  Stay home and reach out over the phone.  It’s hard to stay away, but it’s the easiest way to keep everyone healthy.

Order curbside or delivery from your favorite restaurant

Need a break from cooking 3 meals a day, order from a local restaurant. Restaurants are really feeling the pinch, so treat yourself to some yummy food!

Be kind

This has been an adjustment for everyone, and business owners and employees could use a smile.  We are all in this together, so spread some kindness.

Purchase gift cards for later

Purchasing gift cards or booking appointments, even months down the road, helps give businesses a sense of peace, knowing that they still have supporters.

Shop local stores online

When you are shopping online, shop a local business’s website, they will appreciate the business, and your money will stay local.

Write positive reviews

An easy way to support a small business without leaving your house or spending any money is by writing an online review.

Reach out to businesses

Check on your local businesses! See if they need anything and remind them that they have a community rooting for them.
