As I approached my final year at Baylor, I was determined to make the most of this precious season. I knew this may be my last summer before launching into a permanent career, so I sought an experience that would challenge me, foster personal growth, and establish a profound connection with the Waco community.
When I had the privilege of interviewing for the Marketing Intern position at Digital Media Butterfly, I immediately knew this opportunity was special. From day one of my internship, I was embraced with warmth and genuine care. Because of the company’s size, I had the privilege of building strong relationships with Caryn, Kallie, and Kayla. The cohesive bond among the women at DMB extends beyond business matters, as they prioritize the well-being of one another and extend the same level of care and attention to their clients. Their ongoing commitment to quality relationships deeply resonated with me, and it shines through in every aspect of their work.
Caryn has established Digital Media Butterfly as a cornerstone of the Waco economy. Prior to my time at DMB, I was unaware of the extensive scope of their involvement. They serve clients from every corner of Waco and possess an unparalleled ability to tackle any challenge thrown their way. I am so proud to have learned under her, Kallie, and Kayla’s guidance!
Throughout my internship, my knowledge and understanding of digital media flourished, particularly in the realm of content creation. Every client entrusted to me provided a new opportunity to engage my creativity, brainstorm innovative social media ideas, curate engaging content, and schedule impactful posts. These experiences pushed me to new heights creatively, and for that, I am immensely grateful.
As I transition into the workforce upon my graduation from Baylor University next spring, the lessons I have learned and the experiences I have gained at Digital Media Butterfly will remain invaluable. I will forever carry with me a profound appreciation for trust, collaboration, and creativity that was fostered during my time at DMB.
