As my final semester was coming to an end at Texas Tech University, I was trying to find an internship that would challenge me and push me out of my comfort zone. Allowing me to grow my marketing skills and help me set new goals for my future career.
I am originally from Waco, Tx, so I knew this is where I wanted to stay for a while. Waco is a small town; internship searching was challenging, because of the limited options and positions open. When I heard about Digital Media Butterfly, I knew this would be the perfect start to my career. I applied for the summer internship positions, and heard back from Caryn instantly. After going through the internship process I knew this was going to be the perfect fit.
During my time here at DMB, it has been so special to see how much of an impact they have on this town. Being able to work first hand with all the women in the office has been such an impactful experience. They were so helpful with any questions I had, but also so encouraging when I was not confident in myself. The passion and teamwork for marketing in this office is something that I am so grateful I got to experience.
Throughout my internship, I have gained confidence in my work, and pushed myself and have seen the growth I made this summer. Working with all types of different apps, and media content. All the clients I got to work with allowed me to show my skills and create something that would push their business to the next level.
I will forever be grateful for my time here at Digital Media Butterfly and will never forget this group of women that pushed me to become a better content creator, and team member!
